Will Corsair Vengeance RBG ddr4 3000mhz  Product# CMR16GX4M2D3000C16 work with Asus Rog Strix b450-f Gaming mother board & Ryzen 7 2700x ?

I ordered this ram without paying attention to picky ryzen compatibility & now I'm not clear whether it'll work or not.

Some knowledge & clarification on this would be greatly appreciated.

Ryzen isn't picky compared to when it first launched. Chances are it'll work just fine, especially because corsair ram usually works everywhere.

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

Primary PC:

Draws 400 watts under max load, for reference.

How many watts do I need?

Okay, I'm just looking and in the qvl for the asus rog strix b450-f mobo it's all 3000c15 nothing about 3000c16.
I called Corsair, they don't know. They directed me to check with the Mobo qvl.
Corsair website only says 3000c15 is compatible.

I've really got my fingers crossed here that it'll work. Since I was anxious & ignorant while making my purchases to upgrade from my current cpu/mobo/ram, it completely slipped my mind to think about ram compatibility.

I just needed to do a little more searching. but I was asking around for anyone who had off-hand knowledge.
I am now reassured it'll be compatible according to the information I found from this trail.

Don't know why I wasn't able to stumble upon this sooner.
Maybe I was finding older results.
