Linux no sound whatsoever

So before I tried the kernel update I already tried to unmute everything in the alsamixer but it had no effect.
Now I can unmute stuff and it will work till the next reboot.
Btw to do that correctly in alsamixer you need to:
Press F6 and select the inboard sound card
Press F3 and make sure only output devices are shown
Move with the <- and -> keyboard arrows, with the up arrow you can make the volume lower and higher, if it has an "MM" unmute it with M keyboard key
Make sure you go to the all other way with the right arrow -> since there can be other devices hidden
Also if it still does not work try to remove the firmware we put before
So you are saying it works know but it is muted automatically in reboot?
If this is the case, once you get the correct settings, run
sudo alsactl store
and the setting will be saved and applied on reboot
