Hey guys ..I am buying a cx 550w psu for my rx 580. ( I am a total newbie to PC building ).. so I am pretty unaware of cables with what pins and suppose there is shortage of wires / pins I have no idea can somebody explain this to me in a few lines. Thx.   What if I  runout of cables....lol. (I’ve no ideas how PSUs work...

what pin power supply does the rx580 need? Buy that and it will be fine as all psu tend to have the same wires other than the 6 pin 8 pin etc

There definitely will not be a shortage of wires lol

Your PSU box and manual will show the wires. Typically, it's a high amount of SATA connections, some PCIe power, ATX connector, molex, CPU power, et-cetera.

Are you getting the CX550 or CX550M? I would highly recommend going for the CX550M as it is semi-modular, which will make upgrading or installing new parts much easier, but if you cannot afford the CX550M I would go for the CX550.
