I have a PC with a R5 1400, MSI b350M gaming pro, 12gb of ddr4 ram, an MSI GAMING X rx 480 8gig and a corsair 450watt power supply(I believe it is 80+ bronze).

The PC works perfectly when it is not stressed but when I run some intensive application like MSI KOMBUSTOR it crashes the screen goes black and the gpu fans rev up to 100%, but when I play something like overwatch it works fine.

I haven't overclocked any component and i have tried reinstalling windows, but nothing seems to work

Can someone help me please.

Given it's an MSi b350 and MSi was a total disaster with their BIOS on Ryzen first gen specially towards memory support and you're using a rather messy 8+4 configuration this issue could be related to memory and not the GPU.

Those sypmtoms like your psu is a cheap one , write the model , low power + low tier psu= crashes, but as @Princess Cadence said It can be just a bad ram config, try with a single ram stick

i borrowed my friend's 4 gig stick but even when I run it in a 4+4 configuration I still get this problem and when I try only the 8 gig stick The problem still does not go away
