I use a EVGA 970 FTW+ ACX 2.0 I have friends with new cards who don't get the performance I do. They are running current gen cards and often have lower FPS than I run. Is it just a poor setup on their end or what? I know the gpu i have was good for its time. I would love to have a second one matching lol. But seriously has any one else had this come up with older cards verses newer cards?

Its probably something wrong with their configuration. Likely they are running higher settings and/or resolution, but they could also be experiencing CPU bottlenecking because their CPU isn't very good.

They should try updating the GPU drivers and lowering the resolution and/or settings.

Current gen is one thing, but are we talking 1050 or 1050 ti? Maybe RX 560? Those would be weaker.

Also, are you so certain the settings are the same? I hope your friends aren't suffering from CPU bottleneck either.

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

Draws 400 watts under max load, for reference.

How many watts do I need?
