Hello guys

Maybe there are a lot of topics around running 1050TI on 240PSU, but I wanted to make sure as I can only afford the gtx itself and I got a 240PSU. So the question I have is can it run on 240PSU or can it be burn or something like that?

Currently I have a amd radeon hd 6570 running on 240psu and I dont have problems with it temp is nice everything is cool but I want to play some more games on it and want to get an 1050TI.

What's your full system specs? What model PSU is it? Is it a standard ATX PSU? Are you able to replace it or does the motherboard have proprietary connectors?

Honestly I wouldn't as the likelyhood of a 240W PSU being anything other than garbage isn't very high, especially if it's as old as the 10(?) year old HD6570 that is currently in the system.

CPU: Intel i7 6700k  | Motherboard: Gigabyte Z170x Gaming 5 | RAM: 2x16GB 3000MHz Corsair Vengeance LPX | GPU: Gigabyte Aorus GTX 1080ti | PSU: Corsair RM750x (2018) | Case: BeQuiet SilentBase 800 | Cooler: Arctic Freezer 34 eSports | SSD: Samsung 970 Evo 500GB + Samsung 840 500GB + Crucial MX500 2TB | Monitor: Acer Predator XB271HU + Samsung BX2450

Thank you for replying

Honestly I dont know what psu model is but my pc case is SFF and it has his stock psu

The overall system is:

i5-3470

8gb RAM

500gb hdd

also the recommended psu for my current graphic card is somewhere to 300-350 and I still use it perfectly thats why I thought IF i get 1050ti wont be an issue.
