So it's that time again and I want to upgrade. With Navi being pushed back to Q4 apparently I dont wanna wait much longer. Apart from if the 1660Ti is a good value. I would want to buy an rtx 2060, or something around that performance (Vega 56, gtx 1070ti, gtx 1080). However, I dont mind how big it is, infact I probably prefer 3 fan cards, as I want my card to be as quiet as it can. Coming from a palit gtx 1060, a racket from your PC really breaks immersion and I have the fan curve set to be really low fan speed yet it still gets loud, but its better than before.

Anyway, if you do want to help me, take in count the acoustics first of all please, then the price then the rgb (would be nice).

Thanks for any and all help?

Mad that's a good find.

Assuming it has fixed VRM cooling, which was a problem with older Strix Vega 64 cards. 10 pounds more gets you Nitro+, best air cooler Vega 64.

Best bang for the buck would be modded Vega 56, but you are playing a lottery with HBM. 2060 might be bit quieter tho

most people aren't that keen on 10 bucks

and I mean, both are good cards, but sapphire is more a AMD card maker than Asus is

im also trusting sapphire to make anything good these days

Yeah just watched jayztwocents review on asus card and he wasnt impressed. He lost the 'silicone lottery' so his experience wasnt good. And the sapphire card is 50quid less so yeah. I'll watch a review on sapphire Vega 64.

Right so the sapphire requires 3 x 8pin. Not only will that eat electricity like mad and I also would need to upgrade psu, doesnt have 3 8pin connectors.

400€ is almost the region of VEGA 64.

But there are a lot of VEGA 56 on sale. The _REALLY_ loud Blower thingy was seen for 260€...

So yeah, go for a good quality VEGA like Sapphire Nitro, Power Color.

Avoid MSI and any other BLOWER Card.

Sapphire 64 does.
But If I get it next month, I'm going to test if all 3 are needed or if it runs with 2.
