Remote NAS Sync

I don't use Synology I just build my own servers but I would expect if Synology NAS's are worth anything there should be settings in there that allow periodic backups. Preferably via SFTP/SSH as this would allow universal communication with any other standard NAS/Storage Server like device.

 

For off-site backup you'd have to do some trickery and even more trickery if the off site location doesn't have a static IPv4 or v6 address.
