What about the rest of your setup? Sounds like bad air movement in the case. This is also common with Vertically mounted GPUs as there is very restrictive air flow for the GPU to dissipate the heat.

I've seen mine reach that but it might depend on the game.  I don't keep thing monitored all the time.

What do your temps read while not gaming ?

Thanks for the reply , I bought the pc pre built since I have 0 knowledge on how to build or how some parts work , and no time . Anyway , I got some pictures here of the set up .. also btw I use a 4k monitor if that matters when it comes to temps..

It's hard to tell, are there any fans on the front of case sucking fresh air inside the case ?  It looks like there is one on the bottom... that should be ok.

I have not tried many games yet but pretty sure Battlefield V I noticed temps you had 84c and researched and was ok.  Quake runs cooler and 75c

It's winter time for me, so wont know for sure for a few months.

It's hard to say if you are in the Winter Season too.

This card is new for me, with previous Radeon cards I've seen a Fan profile.  Maybe there is a way to enable a faster Fan RPM % while playing to be safe.

judging from what I see, seems like poor air flow in the case. Seems the GPU is getting lots of hot recycled air over time.

Poor airflow and obviously different usage per game. A limitation of sorts.

Definitely seems like airflow, just like others have said. I have the exact same card, and mine is vertically mounted, I play battlefield V quite a bit and my card never gets above 75 ish and thats with a minor OC done to it. Im using a Define R6 case which has a rear fan and a pair of 140MM at the front. The fans on my card barely run and when they do they only go to about 1500 rpm

Would getting a different case work ?

Definitely cant hurt it in your case. Pun Intended. But yes, you have very little air flow in there with the front being so blocked with the cage or whatever that is up front and likely very poor quality fans up there and likely very stagnant air in the center there around the GPU as a result. Getting a better, more open case with lots of air flow would definitely help.

Find cases you like and go check out reviews for them from Gamers Nexus. IMO they are the best at testing the air flow and cooling capabilities of cases. Here is there review of the case:
