This is my first post on here so don't be too harsh on me please

Anyway, I was wondering how much you think my performance will increase by upgrading my CPU

Thanks to my 5,000 IQ, I had the foresight to get a Ryzen CPU so that I could upgrade to the Ryzen 3000 series when it is released. My current build (and also first build XD) is linked here so you can... see it and judge how much upgrading will improve performance...

I'm not dumb enough to go for a Ryzen 7 2700X, but I still want to know how much of a performance increase that would be over my current build, and also I would like to know how much you think upgrading to the Ryzen 3000 series will assist my gaming, if you think it will even be worth it buying one at all due to the cost of the CPU and the hassle of removing the entire motherboard just to upgrade the CPU, and I'll also have to probably get a new CPU cooler if I get a new CPU because the Ryzen 3000 series will definitely be probably too powerful for my current CPU cooler

Not at all. CPUs are generally 7% better each year, but they hardly impact gaming performance beyond a certain point unless you go over 60 fps or high resolution.

Your computer is beyond baller. Get better peripherals if you have cash burning holes in your pocket

You would be better off upgrading that 2666 ram.  Ryzen does not like slow ram.  I'm surprised you missed that with your 5000iq Ryzen shopping.

i9-9900k @ 5.1GHz || EVGA 3080 ti FTW3 EK Cooled || EVGA z390 Dark || G.Skill TridentZ 32gb 4000MHz C16

 970 Pro 1tb || 860 Evo 2tb || BeQuiet Dark Base Pro 900 || EVGA P2 1200w || AOC Agon AG352UCG

Cooled by: Heatkiller || Hardware Labs || Bitspower || Noctua || EKWB

Quite the opposite in fact. I have literally $14 left in my bank account, and I am being forced to use an old keyboard, as well as a TV for a monitor, because I didn't count those in my budget

If you're broke don't even think about it then. You don't need anything better and won't for a while now

consider doing some simple Ram overclocking. say 1,4 volts and 2933mhz or 3000mhz. whatever you get stable.

your current cooler is fine. Ryzen 3000 sips power. just use whatever comes with the new ryzen 3k CPUs (if there are coolers).

wait for Ryzen 4k then. no need to rush things.

don't wanna try overclocking in-case I mess up

if you mess up. it will revert settings.

or you can pull the mobo battery to reset everything.

follow a guide on youtube etc. i wouldnt touch timings. only Ram voltage and target speed. just dont accidentally put it above 1.47 volts.
