Western Digital Black 6TB or Seagate Barracuda Pro 8TB

helo i am interesting to buy one from these hardisks i want the hardisk for to have inside my games, movies and music files/.

 

which from these 2 is better,, faster and less failures and problems?

also  what is  your  opinion for  Toshiba X300 or Seagate IronWolf?

They're as good as each other really. Both have 5 year warranties, same level of performance and neither have any known issues causing them to fail early.

 

I'd go for the Barracuda Pro for the extra 2TB, assuming they're a similar price.

 

X300 is also a good desktop drive. IronWolf drives are good, competing with  WD's Red drives, though they're intended for NAS rather than desktop use. They'd work fine in a desktop, but shorter warranty than the Barracuda Pro and WD Black but similar price due to some extra features that are intended for NAS applications.

Personally, I would go for the drive with a longer warranty since the performance is going to be close.
