Phanteks Halos Digital Fan Frames

Hi all!

Looking to RGB my PC out a little bit, Using Noctua fans so i was looking at the halos fan frames, My z97x doesnt have an RGB header so how would i get them to work? Looking at getting 3 first then maybe more later. Would i need some sort of controller?

 

Was also looking at the Digital RGB LED Starter Kit, how would i go about plugging this in without the header?

Can anyone recoomend all the items id need to get these working?

Via software or a normal controller.

If you are getting the Phanteks Halos also get the Phanteks rgb led starter kit.

 

That should be all you need.

Will i need more than one controller? As The kit has two strips and im looking to do 3 fans?

I don't think so, says on the website that 7 can be daisy chained together.
