Resolution Help!

My  native resolution is 1680x1050. I play Planetside 2, Star Wars the Old Republic, Borderlands 2, Skyrim, Elder Scrolls Online Beta, you name it, they mostly play native. But for some reason when I play Battlefield 4, Assassins Creed 4, AC3 in 1680x1050 it isn't full screen, so I have to change the resolution to 1600x900. Anyone have any tips? Any help? It would be greatly appreciated.

Check your aspect ratio settings in your graphics card control panel.

Check your aspect ratio settings in your graphics card control panel.

Scaling Mode is fullscreen.  Perform  scaling on "display".

I have a 1680x1050, i can play fullscreen on that fine. on bf4 that is

21.6 inches, its a dell ultrasharp 3007

it doesn`t matter. its about aspect ratio. your is 16:10

Does that mean I cant play those games at 1680x1050 because 16:10 isn't supported?

let me check for you now couse you should.

 

yep, AC3 and 4 has ''movie'' black bars. i tried to play with screen size and aspect ratio in my gpu control panel,doesn`t do anything. damn 16:10 is awesome screw obisoft. BF4 runs fine its fullscreen. so is bf3.

 

your monitor has H/V position so change them. but this only works when its via VGA. on DVI you can`t change that couse its digital signal,it ''knows'' where the pixels go
