Hi! I am in need for a new keyboard and a mouse for my new rig. I have a budget of 150ish for the keyboard and 100 for the mouse. I am looking for a mech keyboard with red/black color scheme (has to match :D ) and I dont know what keyswitch to go for. The mouse just has to be red and black. Thanks a lot!              -beans

Either a ducky keyboard or the Corsair K70. And then this for the mouse:http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=9SIA3PC1923086

Life is pain. Anyone who says any different is either selling something or the government.

Maybe this will help you decide what switches to get:

It's still best to try it out in person though. See if any walk in stores or friends have mech keyboards you can try out.

If you ever need help with a build, read the following before posting: http://linustechtips.com/main/topic/3061-build-plan-thread-recommendations-please-read-before-posting/

Is there anyway you can try them out locally?

If not, you can order the mechanical switch sampler.

I might as well just buy one of each keyboard :D  because I kinda live in mexico, so there's that... Can I have your personal opinion on the different keyswitches though?

Personal opinion? I already said it's a preference thing.

My friend has reds and he loves them while I don't really like them so much.

Browns and blues are my favorite with a nice bump/click.

If you can't try any out, just try to figure out what you would prefer through the video.
