Gaming lan help

A LAN is not the internet. its the opposite. Are you trying to create a LAN, or are you trying to get internet to a LAN? All you need to connect hosts to each other is a switch.

All you need is a router and a switch. don't even need a modem since it's local and you won't be doing any translating
