AVERAGE FPS IN BENCHMARKS GAMES

Hi in most  benchmarks  games i see the  average  fps  what is  the average fps in one game?

The average amount of frames per second when playing? It's all the frames that were shown divided by the amount of seconds that passed during the benchmark

i dont understand  i mean if one  game i have  40  fps in one section and in another i  have  60  fps  this  you mean average??

 

or the  average is  the  highest  fps  you have  in  every gAME?

Nope. If you play a game for 5 minutes, that's 300 seconds; you take the framerate in each second, add them together and divide by 300 to get the average.

 

5 + 9 = 14. 14/2=7. The average of 5 and 9 is 7.
