3 weeks ago i bought the g pro wireless and i've been totally impressed by how good it was but I had to set every game on high priority in task manager otherwise it would have massive stuttering while moving the mouse so i thought it was my cpu's fault (i5 6600) and moved on. With the launch of Apex legends i tried everything to eliminate this stuttering issue but nothing worked so i tried testing the mouse in paint. These are the results. It's horrible. Then i tried my good old mouse zowie ec2-a being 100% sure it would work perfectly but i was wrong. It had the same issue which means it's not a mouse problem but a pc problem.

Also when i say the mouse stutters i don't mean the game drops frames. The game has a constant frame time and over 144 fps but when i try to move the mouse around it simply gets stuck or the sensitivity lowers drastically.

The only thing i changed recently is the gpu. i upgraded from a 1070 to a 1080ti but the gpu has nothing to do with the mouse. The only thing left is my cpu is obviously bottlenecking my gpu but if it was that bad wouldn't the game also have frame drops as the gpu tries to go faster than my cpu can output? In benchmarks the gpu works great and doesn't overheat and same goes with the cpu.

I would love to hear any possible solution. I'll try to reinstall windows today but it most probably won't help. The last thing to do would be to upgrade my cpu but i'm holding myself until amd releases the 7nm or intel the 10nm.

The thing is Logitech always has software issues and is very picky on what USB port you connect the mouse and or adapter to.  Try a different usb port, like one on your case or monitor and let us know.

Your mouse may ether not be set to a high enough polling rate, or may be trying to poll to fast for your USB controller.

Similar to how some consoles cant handle some mice due to native 1000hz polling being to high.

As for angle snapping, most 'good' mice have software to controll them, there should be an option to disable snaping.

@Turtle Rig I already tried switching between ports with both mice and nothing changed.

@SolarNovaI tried with 125hz, 250hz, 500hz and 1000hz but it's all the same. I can't find any option to disable snaping on the logitech mouse and the zowie doesn't have software. To change polling rate on the zowie you have to reconnect it while pressing some buttons.
