I left my whole PC on for two weeks unsupervised and came back to find it still chugging away under a load (Folding@Home). So long as your parts are decent, then it should be fine to be left on for a long time.

Mine does this as well, it's totally fine. What safety concern did you have specifically about a microphone being on?

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

Primary PC:

i7 8086k - EVGA Z370 Classified K - G.Skill Trident Z RGB - WD SN750 - Jedi Order Titan Xp - Hyper 212 Black (with RGB Riing flair) - EVGA G3 650W - dual booting Windows 11 and Fedora Linux - Black and green theme, Razer brainwashed me.

Draws 400 watts under max load, for reference.

Hello!

So, when I turn off my PC my Blue Snowball Ice red light is always on and I was wondering if that's safe?... because I am always afraid of leaving something turned on when I'm not in my room....

Some USB ports on PCs are continuously powered because they're expecting people to use them as charging ports for devices.

Uhhh I don’t think it really matter lmao, electronics are built to turn on and work, and to keep them on is no harm, do you turn off your phone after checking Instagram or finish a call? No, do you need to turn off your pc or mic for your situation? No, I’ve left my pc on for 3 months (task manager runtime, have screenshots) I’ve only restarted it, why do i keep it on all the time? I dunno
