Hello again...  I have started this thread to see if anyone has any recommendations for a motherboard that is similar to the one I already have...  Here goes...

Currently I have an MSI 890FXA-DG65 board...

It has on it:

  • Four PCI-E slots
  • One PCI slot
  • Two Graphics card slots
  • Six 90° angled SATA III connectors

I have all 4 PCI-E slots filled, and an AMD FX-8350 CPU installed with 16GB of RAM (4 x 4GB modules).  I also have an ATi Radeon HD7750 with 2GB GDDR5 memory.

I am asking if anyone here knows of a similar motherboard with similar or preferably the same number of add-in card slots as above that support my FX-8350 and naturally DDR3 RAM, it must also have native support for Windows 10 as well.

My budget is £50 to £100.  No more.

Thanks.

Asrock 970 performance 3.1 is a nice board been running it with fx 9370 for sometime(3+years). about the same as what you have there but just over budget when buying new

in essence you want a board with the 970 chip-set.

99.9% of people now use android or IOS, 3.2billion people now use phones more than desktops(15% of market), windows 10 is a dead OS in the making. Upgrading to windows 10 because its not officially supported aint a valid excuse have you any idea how many operating systems there are other than windows? 100+. it will still work with windows like all older systems way b4 that era. ur better to buy full CPU/board/ram combo again if you so choose. your cpu is 64bit there aint a 128bit OS yet or CPU's and there only just phasing out 32-bit cpu/drivers/OS. your board will still be maintained for a gd few years yet. ive had windows 10 on ddr2 machines all day long urs is ddr 3, 1 gen above.

as stated above keep it save up for a new system
