replace pg279q

Hello,

 

Do you think it's a good idea to replace my pg279q 1440p 27 inch by the new acer nitro xv273k 2160 p 144hz 27 inch too. There is a big diffrence between this two monitors ? My rig is 8700 intel ,2080ti and 16 go ram

You get 4k resolution for your desktop and 1440p or 4k for gaming and what not.

27 inch is sufficient for 4k ?

I used a 28" 4k monitor for 4 years.  Things get small but its readable you get used to  it after a while.

Anyways i can't use more than 27 inch . Compatibility with my desk

Stick with the 1440p 165hz monitor until tech grows enough to have a 4k 165hz monitor.

 

The 279Q is a beautiful display.

Unless you are getting the 2000 dollar gsync version with 1000 nits and amazing HDR it really isn't worth it.
