Dad's PC having issues booting.

I'm helping my dad to see if his old w7 PC will boot, but after the BIOS splash screen a message is displaying and we're not quite sure what to do. The picture is showing the message. What should we do?

Will this impact any of my dad's data? Or should it be safe to do? Sorry, just taking extra precaution.

It will impact the unsaved data the PC had when it was put into hibernation (not turned off).

 

If the hard drive died, the data is lost, so no need to worry. Let's first see if it's a failed system resume from sleep/hibernation or something else.

The windows 7 animation is playing. It looks like its working for now.

this is why we shutdown and save our work instead of sleeping PCs

It's funny, my older brother has actually been telling my dad since he was around 9 (and me 6) that my dad should be shutting off his PC instead of putting into sleep. I always knew that if I accidentally shut down the computer after playing Garry's Mod that my dad would be annoyed, but he didn't get mad because my brother was right.
