Should I wait?

Since freesync monitors are much cheaper than previous g-sync monitors (now known as g-sync ultimate), I would imagine that manufacturers will fine tune their new freesync monitors to be fully g-sync compatible. Would it be a good idea to wait until they come out, or should I just buy a current generation g-sync ultimate monitor?

The longer you wait on anything, the cheaper it gets, to a point.

The question really is: Are the current prices for these acceptable to you, and do you need it, or do you just want it?
