I put together this parts list using PC Part Picker to ensure compatibility, I just would like to know if this looks like halfway decent system, this will be my first build and my way into PC gaming from consoles... I mainly want to play ARK Survival Evolved... Any advice without making my price skyrocket would be useful, I realize this is not top of the line gear but my budget is $1000. Also if i missed something please let me know, as I said this is my first build...

Here is the list with the prices as well:

Your Processor is a bit outdated, I'd go for either an I5-8600K or an I7-8700K

The Core i5-8400 is also Coffee Lake and Coffee Lake refresh (9. gen) has no locked parts, so it isn't really outdated.

Case comes with one rear 120mm fan, the 2600 comes with a cooler. I've been doing this since 2016
