Tricaster TCXD 300 and/or Tricaster 460 upgrade??

Can anyone provide information on upgrading a NewTek Tricaster video-editing computer station?

I have a vintage TCXD-300 (Windows Vista) machine with an LC-11 control panel (about $16,000 in 2011) which still runs great and a newer (but still vintage) Tricaster 460 running on Windows 7 with its own control surface too. I would love to see these workhorses get upgraded to a newer OS (Windows 10) but NewTek will not provide the image or expertise to do it.

NewTek says the machine settings are designed for a specific OS and cannot be upgraded. I think they just don't want to make their machines upgradeable because they would rather you spend gazillion$$ to get a newer machine (at $14,000 to $16,000 a pop getting a newer machine isn't easy to do).

I'm also too inexperienced to try it on my own and don't want to break something that still works. Thanks in advance to anyone that can help!!
