Modding RAM and Wifi Card

Home
Go to solution Solved by SupaKomputa,

Plastidipping will make your card hot, as it will isolate the heat, and the heatsink won't work.

You're coating the card with rubber paint. Don't do it.

Hi all, I want to paint my ASUS PCI-E wifi card and was wondering if anyone has any good reason that I should not, I was thinking plastidip or another non-conductive spray paint would do the job. But I want to see if anyone knows of any issues with painting something like a PCI-E Wifi Card. I'm also currently painting some heat spreaders from my Team Group DDR4 Memory and was wondering if I need some special heat pads or if just any kind of non-conductive double-sided adhesive will do the job.

I appreciate your input, Thanks!
