Any way to turn off conversion of keyboard emojis?

Just wondering, when I type a keyboard emoji it automatically converts it to the regular type. So I think there's a setting for that; does anybody know where I can find it?

yeah no that's currently a global customisation thing for this forum. I think it's been suggested before in Feature Suggestions, but forgot what it was

(also emoticons. not keyboard emoji)
