Hello,

Recently I've been running into freezing problems with my PC. As of now the problem has occured with the following Games but I'm pretty sure I just got lucky with other games until now:

- Catherine Classic

- Final Fantasy XIV

The problem occurs randomly, yet too often to just put aside.

When the problem occurs all of my screens turn black and there's a constant noise presumably being the last bit of sound before the freeze. At that point I have to restart the PC as it won't go back to a normal state.

Sometime in December I bought a new Screen (HP Pavilion 32). Ever since I started using this screen I've also started having problems with my old V7 screen where it just starts flickering after some time until it ultimately shuts off completely. When that happens Windows also starts to lag as if trying to reconnect the screen.

Any idea on what's going on here? I'd imagine it being a GPU issue but I'm not quite sure with the PC freezing completely.

PC Specs:
GPU: RX480 Red Devil (Running Adrenaline 19.1.1)
CPU: Ryzen 5 2600

RAM: 2x 8GB G.Skill Ripjaws V (DDR4 @3200Mhz XMP)
Mainboard: Gigabyte GA-AB350M-Gaming 3 (F23)

Screen 1: HP Pavilion 32 @70Hz with FreeSync (2560x1440)

Screen 2: V7 LED236W3R-8E @60Hz (1920x1080)
Case: Coolermaster N400
OS: Windows 10 Home

After another crash (whilst playing Catherine) we've got some new behaviour.

After changing resolution through Windows the problem is gone. This is the Main 2560x1440 Screen.

Update: This happened twice in a row within less than 5 minutes. Yet again through Catherine. This time the sounds slowly stopped playing instead of just having a constant noise. The problem in the Video didn't appear again.
Update 2: Three times now. Guess no Catherine for now.
