Moving Solidworks to a different drive without install

In the aim of freeing up disk space on my m.2 SSD I need to move Solidworks over to my HDD but I'm pretty sure it's not just a click and drag job. If I uninstall Solidworks I won't be able to get it back because I got it through an educational course which I'm no longer a part of. It there any way, be it through Solidworks software or any other means, that I can reinstall the program to a different drive while never removing it from my computer?

Thanks in advance to anyone who takes the time to help :)

I'd try to just move it there, as long as you do not reinstall windows it is very likely that it will just work. If it does not you can create a partition on your other drive, move it there and then mount that partition to the folder it was previously in.

Solidworks has a ton load of registry keys that have hardcoded path. Also there is a bunch of assemblies specially registered in the folders. Good luck.
