Netapp FAS3020C HELP

Good morning to everyone,

i buyed an used storage but no one can provide me the web access to the machine.

I buy a full rack cabinet formed by 2 Netapp FAS3020C  with 10 external storage and i need to wipe all data out.

Consider that i can only work with console cable because who sell me the cabinet doesn't remeber anything about that.

On the net i cant find anything about that, i need to know how to wipe all data from the disks and re-install the software for configuring it properly.

You're going to need access to the Netapp documentation, most of it you can access without a Netapp account. As long as you have access to the SP port address or a management address you can ssh to you'll be able to do a wipe and reset of the system and setup LIFs to be able to access it via System Manager.

thanks for the reply , i will create an netapp account, i can't access by secure shell because i haven't any remote access on it , i can only work by serial console working on my serial port on the pc , in console i'm unable to skip the boot to reset the password by factory default the access(ctrl+c in the pre boot), without the password i can't even do commands for showing me the ip address where the ssh and management works.
