Hey everyone, I've bought a used cpu for my new build, and the last items for the build just arrived today ahead of schedule. Therefore I have had no time yet to get my isopropyl alcohol to clean off the cpu, and so Im wondering if there is the need to clean the cpu with isopropyl alcohol, or if just using a lint free cloth is enough. I want to test the system asap so I could potentially send back broken components, and I dont feel like there is any issue with not cleaning up the entirety of the old thermal paste, apart from slightly worse thermals

Should be fine if you just want to test if the system boots.
