If you could provide more information about the build it would help us.

For some reason i think that installing the chipset drivers (doesnt matter if they are showing as installed.)

If it is an Asus system i found information online that this driver fixed it - Intel® Dynamic Platform and Thermal Framework Driver

http://support.asus.com/download.aspx?SLanguage=en&p=3&s=481&m=S400CA&os=&hashedid=LBQvyK5FrtTS1OCY

And from a dell system:

RE: 7140, Windows 10, and the PCI Data Acquisition and Signal Processing Controller

"OK, for anyone else who did a clean install of Win 10 and wants to clear this up here is what I discovered.

First, drivers for everything except for the SM Bus Controller can be found within the chipset files on the Dell support site. They don't show up under Win 10 however... you have to select 8.1 as the OS to get those chipset files to appear. Or, you can just get them from the 64 bit download list I made here:

http://www.dell.com/support/home/us/en/19/Drivers/DownloadListDetails?downloadListId=01fa39af-bc44-4...

To avoid any potential issues with code compiled specifically for Win 8.l, I just extracted the drivers and let the device manager find/install them.  Worked fine.

For the SM Bus Controller, you will need to go to Intel's website and download their chipset setup software.

https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/20775/Intel-Chipset-Device-Software-INF-Update-Utility-

I didn't extract anything from this... just ran it and let it pick/install the right files.

Everything seems good and no more unknown devices with missing drivers."

rtx 2070

gigabyte aoruz pro WiFi  z390

16 gigs of ddr4 ram 3200mghz

rog this 850w psu.

it says that all the drivers are installed and up to date, but still shows that problem.
