So my 'server' if you can call it that only has two working SATA power connectors (It's a proprietary one)

S my goal is to have my two 2TB Drives as my server. With 200Gb partition on both striped as a boot drive, and the rest striped for an actual storage server

So my problem is I can't install windows on dynamic disks so I was thinking. Install windows on another drive and clone it to my 400Gb raid drive but I can't find any software that will allow me to do that. Is there any other way to do this.

I need a 400Gb of storage on my boot drive because I also want to use it to backup my iPhone.

I've been using Paragon Hard Disk Manager for years. It's bit expensive but very powerful and will do everything

I don't think anyone fully supports Dynamic Disk other than M$

Does your product support Microsoft Dynamic Disks?
Full support of this proprietary technology is not yet available from any third-party vendor, as Microsoft has yet to make available the proper documentation. Hard Disks Manager provides limited support for MBR dynamic disks. GPT dynamic disks are NOT supported. For more information, please consult Knowledge Base.

Macrium Reflect Free has an excellent cloner.

As long as anyone is oppressed, no one will be safe and free.

One has to be proactive, not reactive, to ensure the safety of one's data so backup your data! And RAID is NOT a backup!
