Should I upgrade?

I’m in the market for new parts, wanting to spend less than $300 total. What should I upgrade? (Build in signature)

CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 2600 @ Stock

Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-AB350m-Gaming 3

RAM: Ballistix Sport LT 8GB Kit (4GBx2)

GPU: Gigabyte GTX 1050 Ti Windforce OC 4GB

Case: Rosewill Micro ATX (SRM-01)

Storage: Seagate 1TB FireCuda Gaming SSHD

PSU: Corsair VS550

Display: ASUS VE278Q

Keyboard: E-Element Z-88 RGB Mechanical Gaming Keyboard

Mouse: Logitech G502

Sound: Razer Man O' War 7.1 Headset

Operating System: Windows 10 Pro

you could get a gtx 1070 on sale which would be a nice improvement. Other than that with your budget it's going to be hard to dramatically improve performance. Maybe grab some more ram.

its a 550w PSU, that's plenty of power for any graphics card that you would pair with a ryzen 2600

If you game I would spend that amount on a used GPU. If not, I would get more /better RAM. Maybe upgrade motherboard. 

 

If you don't care about the GPU I would do RAM, cooler and maybe upgrade motherboard.

Quality is another story though, the VS isn't particularly highly rated on our own PSU tier list on the forum.

 

@IRONSTARR ram speed also matters for Ryzen quite a bit, list your speed too.

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

 

Primary PC:

i7 8086k - EVGA Z370 Classified K - G.Skill Trident Z RGB - WD SN750 - Jedi Order Titan Xp - Hyper 212 Black (with RGB Riing flair) - EVGA G3 650W - dual booting Windows 10 and Linux - Black and green theme, Razer brainwashed me.

Draws 400 watts under max load, for reference.

 

How many watts do I need? ATX 3.0 & PCIe 5.0 spec, PSU misconceptions, protections explained, group reg is bad

Durability isnt there, performance is just alright.
