Hello everyone,

I've recently built my first gaming PC and encountered some problems while testing Black Ops 4. The Game runs at highest settings (1080p) @ around 105 FPS, but the FPS drops to 20 from time to time and the game stutters really bad, making it unplayable. Shadow of Mordor runs at highest settings (4K Resolution) with around 75 FPS, so my hardware shouldn't be a problem. My question is, what could I do to fix the stutter and fps drops?

Specs:

AMD Ryzen 5 2600 @3,85 ghz
Asus  ROG Strix RTX 2070 OC 8GB
Asus ROG Strix B450-F Gaming Mainboard

16 GB DDR4 RAM GSkill Aegis

500GB Samsung 970 EVO NVMe M.2

be quiet! Straight Power 11 550W

There is an in-game monitoring you can use. Turn it on. I bet you're hitting VRAM limits. I have the same issue on my 1070  and had to turn down a few things to high to resolve it.

VRAM usage goes as high as 93% but it's still stuttering without hitting 100% Vram
