New keyboard or mouse?

Hi, looking at getting a new mouse or keyboard.
The keyboard will be solely for typing on, I have a gamepad.

Tough call. You need to type. So my first impression would be keyboard, but I've used low budget low dpi mice on other Windows machines and it feels like a struggle to get the mouse where I need it fast enough. So, I'd recommend a mouse with a really good sensor.

Budget? wireless? Mechanical, rubber dome, scissor switch? Gaming mouse? how many buttons?
