I have the msi b350 tomohawk and I want to m flash it to make it work with ryzen 3rd gen when it comes out, and I want it to be forward compatible. I am currently on the stock bios with no bios updates. If anyone knows how to do this that would be great. Also, I would like to know my chance of failure for this m flash

Ryzen 3 isn't even out, you can't update to support a product that doesn't even exist yet. Once it out, you'll likely download a BIOS file from your board manufacturer's website, then in a flashing utility in your BIOS, you would select this file and flash it. Should be very simple. Chance of failure pretty much zero unless you get a corrupted BIOS file or your system loses power during flashing. Most boards nowadays also have dual-BIOS to protect you from bricking the board in these cases.
