So I plan to get myself a 780 and I was wondering if I can use my GT610 as an analog (VGA) output for my TV and have my 780 take care of my primary monitor. Is this possible?

Why would you do that? Just plugg the TV and Monitor in the 780.

Saves me time and the power consumption isn't near nothing. I would have no use for the GT610 but I could use it for the TV without needing an adapter.

Don't you need matching cards? Or at least matching structures and ram capacity?

That's for SLI.... not for display...
