Hi all,

I am currently really freaking out.

I just got a 2060 and just wanted to test the OC scanner in MSI afterburner. However all of a sudden my screen went black even though my PC is still running. What do I do, is it safe to just stop the pc with the power button when it's still doing the OC scanner thing?

I was afraid this was going to end badly for some reason...

Let it sit for 5-10 minutes, if nothing occurs then unplug and re-plug the display port cable/hdmi cable back into your display.

I already did. And I'm not even certain it's still doing the OC thing, the fans of the GPU aren't even spinning yet.

The GPU might've just crashed then, it ought to be safe to power the system off. If no power is going to the GPU because it's crashed then you should be able to safely power down. Try a CMOS clear after powering down or, if necessary, unplugging the system and jumping the reset CMOS pins for 15 seconds.

Right well I don't know what happened but powering down the system worked and I didn't need to clear the CMOS. I'm not touching that sh*t again :P

Thanks!
