Record macro on the fly - looking for a hardware solution

Hello,

My work involves a lot of tedious data entry and i would like to automate some of it.

 

Problem is that we use Win Server VMs trough Citrix and they are completely locked down, the only peripherals that pass trough are keyboards and mouse, and no softwares can be installed.

 

I'm looking for some kind of device that could sit beween the keyboard and the dektop that would allow to record macros on the fly and replay them.

 

I was looking for existing solutions, but couldn't find any and would be grateful if anyone can point me in the right direction.

You may want to check it for safety ( back door,virus), since you are going commercial. If you have and IT department, have them approved it, before using.

Get a keyboard that can run QMK firmware.  I have this exact ability on my keyboard right now.
