It depends on how your experience is now and whether you're looking for better performance or not, but I would personally make the upgrade.

Well, it really depends on what you're doing with the card(s), and what resolution you're at. SLI support is scarce and uses more power, so a 2070 would be better (it performs like a 1080).

Yeah, a 2070, used 1080 Ti, or 2080 would be ideal for 1440p gaming @ 1ms+240hz.

It'll be worth it, i rather have 1 gpu than 2 gpu for the same if not better performance.
