For Christmas I got some parts that I picked out for my first build, and I'd like to share it here to see what people think. I might also get an SSD in the future because I've never had one.

Specs:

i7 4770k

Hyper 212 EVO

Asus Maximus VI Hero
Kingston HyperX Black 8gb
Asus GTX 770
Fractal Design Arc Midi R2
Corsair RM750
Seagate Barracuda 2TB
Asus DVD Burner

(The PSU looks better in darker situations)

You might have noticed I'm using the stock heatsink on the 4770k and that's because I was testing it out of the case. The 212 EVO was pretty hard to get on, so I just put on the stock heatsink. The only problem now is that I have nothing to clean off the thermal paste.

Welcome to the pc master race *Claps*

Your psu is a bit overkill unless you plan on getting the 770 into sli.

Yeah, I know it's a bit much right now, but I'm most likely going to upgrade in the future. It was also only $10 more than the RM650.

As for my monitor, lets just say that it's from Dynex...

Nice first build buddy. Welcome to the build logs and congrats on your first build. Wish you much luck around the forums and hope to see you jumping in amongst the thick of it.

P.S. If in the future you wish to display pictures without having to click a link, simply host the image than when it gives you the various links to post to a forum, click the "Hotlink for forums" version, it displays the picture without users having to click the image. No one told me, so thought I'd just share it with you.

Thanks! I would've used the %7Boption%7D tag, but the pictures were huge.
