Hello guys, I just recently built a computer with the following specs:

-Asrock x470 master sli

-Ryzen 2600

-16Gb (2x8) G.SKILL Ripjaws V 3000mhz

-750W evga bq psu

When I booted everything up I went straight for the bios where I could see every component was detected and saw nothing odd. As soon as I tried to install windows I would just freeze and forced to shut down. I narrowed it down to ram so I switched it to another kit of 8Gb (2x4) of G.skill aegis and everything worked fine and I was able to install windows. I installed the ripjaws kit again and got BSOD everytime I turned on the pc. I RMA the ripjaws V kit and got a new one from the store and the exact same thing happened. Tried everything on the internet and one thing worked: Installing only one of the sticks, activate xmp, shut down the computer after and finally installing the second stock. The post where I saw this solution did not explain why this worked and I'm afraid it might still be a hardware problem. I have the bios fully updated too. Can anyone explain why this works? Thank you.

Use CPU-Z to check memory frequency, what does that read?

Memory frequency on cpu-z reads 1500 (the 3000mhz from the xmp profile) so everything is looking good. I even stress tested the memory and found no errors in one hour of testing with memtest64. If I set the bios to default and install both sticks of ram I get bluescreens with or witouth XMP enabled. I have to install the first stick, enable xmp, shut down, install the second stick and the it works flawlessly
