HELP ME PLEEAASEE

I have just made a computer about an hour ago and after booting it on ONLY the motherboard lights turn on! Right now there is no GPU as I will buy that later, but WHY is it still acting like this? My PSU is pretty basic so that could be the problem, but my specs are here:

 

  -asus rog x470-i

  -16gb ddr4 trident z

  -700W MasterWatt Lite PSU

  -Ryzen 7 2700x

  -NVMe 250gb

  -2tb HDD

 

All my fans (except CPU fan) are on a fan hub which is from the PSU, and is powered by Molex, but even the FANS dont turn on, this doesn't make any sense as this would mean that the Molex connectors arent working either, but how could this be?

 

There is always the chance that the PSU is faulty, but how exactly could I be sure? After all, the mOBO lights turn on?

 

What else problems could there be?

 

How can I fix this?

 

Plz help me... This is my first build and this is the first build and I am very confused...

The r2700x has no ipgu according to a quick google search.

But then that still doesn't explain why the fans dont turn on, as its not connected to the mOBO anyways...

What fan hub? The fan hub probably needs to be plugged in to the motherboard as well as the molex. Read the manual for further instructions.

As mentioned the 2700x does not have integrated graphics so you won't be able to use the system without a graphics card.

That Masterwatt Lite isn't a good PSU, and you don't need 700W. What graphics card are you getting? Would be better off with a good quality 550W rather than a crappy 700W.

Sounds like your hub is faulty or the psu 

or maybe the  motherboard recognizes the lack of gpu and just wont start propertly?

Its a simple 3-pin molex fan hub which comes with the mini ITX

 

So is it normal for it not even to turn on the screen? I'll get the graphics card later, but why is it that the computer fans wont turn on or anything like this? BTW fan hubs connect directly to the psu and have nothing to do with the mOBO.

 

I dont expect the bIOS to turn up, but I wanted to see if everything actually turns ON

Thats what I'd been thinking, but then why the mOBO lights turn on but NOTHING else?

Mini ITX what? Mini ITX is a form factor and doesn't help identify the fan hub. Read your case/fan hub manual and it should walk you through how to install the fan hub.

You're thinking of the AMD RX 470 graphics card. OP as a X470 Motherboard by Asus. Completely different things.

I just expected the fans to turn on, but nothing does.... And it isnt connected with the mOBO

No it doesnt, no fan does. Just the rgb lights on the mOBO

It needs to be plugged in to the motherboard in addition to the molex power connector. Here's the instructions in the MANUAL

Wait a minute.... In the manual it says that it should spin at full speed WITHOUT the pwm connecting, but its completely static, but I'll try it anyways..

That's when plugged in to a 3pin non PWM fan connector on the motherboard.

See pages 12 and 13 of your case manual for installation guide.
