cpu and gpu usage not high not getting 144fps

hello so in some games like fortnite and csgo it wont use alot of cpu and gpu which makes me get lower fps which means i dont get the full 144hz benfit for example while playing fortntie i am getting 50% gpu usage and 50 or 60% cpu usage and only adround 120-170fps which is stupid beacuse why doesnt it use the reaming 50% or what ever to get me a good gfps always above 144hz specs are i5 8400 and rtx 2080 32gb of ram

you could try raising the FPS limit in console  

fps_max 144

 

But another thing is that Mr.Google says that the i5 8400 has a base clock of 2.8Ghz, which is pretty lacking and probably a signficant bottleneck. It boosts to 3.8 But still could be a issue.

ok im gonan buy a i7 8700 and c if it helps

i5 8400 with a RTX2080 and 32Gb of RAM to play fortnite and CSGO..... I have seen it all now folks

60c for gpu and cpu in csgo and i have 32gb of ram at 2666hz i think
