Graphics card problem. Just need help

So my dad got mad at me and started pulling out the cables from my com (USB cables, LAN cable, Graphics cable)

And he kinda pulled the whole DVI cable out with the screws still in the graphics card, meaning the cable was wrecked.

I powered on my com without realizing that, and naturally only my second display outputted a signal.

I then took a spare guaranteed working DVI cable and swapped it with the wrecked cable.

It would boot into windows but my main display will not display anything but windows still thinks there are two displays.

I decided to swap the DVI ends and eventually reseat the graphics card

After I did that, my mobo still will not POST with my original Titan X installed.

Normally if POST is successful, my keyboard will start lighting up and showing the default animation, as will my mouse.

In this case my keyboard only did the animation for 1 sec before just stopping, and my mouse does not light up at all.

Also there are two short beeps from the mobo speaker after a long time and one short beat every subsequent 20 secs. No display on either display.

Swapping the Titan X out for a spare RX 580 gives me POST and display BUT only on my HDMI second monitor.

Note: resetting CMOS does not work

I decided to reset CMOS and change the default VGA device back to the motherboard and it booted with the Titan X installed BUT of course the display was from the VGA cable connected to the motherboard

Windows loaded and showed a Code 43 for the Titan X

I'm just confused

How can a card just die like that

I suppose my monitor is just fked

Any suggestions?

Both CPUs are liquid cooled and idle around 25C, load MAX 50C

ASUS RX 580 Dual OC

Crossover 27Q 1440p (FIRST MONITOR CONNECTED BY DVI)

DELL SE2417HQ (second monitor connected by HDMI)

Matrox G200EW onboard motherboard display output

4 port USB 3.1 PCIE card

Creative Sound Blaster VX 5.1 for speakers

Topre REALFORCE RGB Keyboard

Corsair Glaive RGB Aluminum Mouse

So you can get into OS with the titan installed?

unplug the DVI? that port is probably properly wrecked. if it dosnt boot without the DVI plugged in there might be a short there

ONLY using the mobo onboard VGA and with onboard VGA selected in the BIOS

yeah it does not boot with just the HDMI plugged in, or if the DVI is plugged in

then ther DVI port and potentially more of your card took some damage, you could try taking the cooler off the card and looking for anything that dosnt look right. burnt or loose components or such. your card is likely hardware damaged, it could be as little as needing to cut the DVI connector of the card all the way to dead silicon tbh

hmm yeah, this is the worst thing i could imagine, darn having to replace such an expensive card and a monitor. 

how though, does the card even spoil? by right some exposed cables that is touching nothing should not damage a card THIS bad...  IDEK

the pulling on the DIV connector on the card could have damaged that, maybe its even ripped off the board.
