Simple App idea's...

So i thought we should make a thread for small mobile apps that should sort of already exist and be standard...

 

Here's my suggestion.

 

App that makes it so when you record video's on your mobile it records in landscape automatically... im sick of people uploading vids in portrait

No but seriously...how about a free, not shitty graphing calculator app that runs locally and doesn't need to access it's servers....I have yet to see one on Android and being a math student...it sucks...

You would have to carry a backpack attached to your phone.

That will be good if it worked via USB when charging

Include an interdimensional portal inside it so the printing and even processing could be done elsewhere.

i mean you just sit on your couch watching some television while your computer is upstairs downloading pr0n or mining of what ever and you want to be sure it doesn't overheat and you just check your phone

u would need a rotatable lens 

the lens should dynamically make it so its in proper landscape mode

otherwise u will get a video thats sideways when they hold it in portrait mode.

i was planing on doing something like this once i got time (aka university)

so you are listening music on your phone with a player like PowerAMP you come home and you just plug the USB cable in to your phone and your phone syncs the music info with pc and your music plays on your pc just where you left listening (this will need both pc and android development and will require a lot of work to get all players to work) now thinking about its not really "simple"

Actually, given that phones these days have a 6 axis to sense what side is top, and a camera lens just records in a square then removes whats out of the Resolution zone, its not that hard, you just set up the app to recognize the phone is in Portrait mode then tell the lens to record in Landscape.

hmmmm thought u meant with the native resolution plus what phone records video on a high resolution and 4:3?

If I remember correctly, Power-Grid can do that over wifi along with many other functions.
