very sensitive backspace key

so this started a few days ago. on my Late 2011 MacBook Pro i can just rest my finger on the backspace, and not even press the key and it will register it... this is kinda annoying because i do this thing here i will rest my fingers on certain keys and it's happened a few times now that i rest my finger on backspace and i accidentally deleted something. 

 

is there an easy way to fix this? i don't want to take the entire laptop apart so...
