Opening up laptop

The model is - hp pavilion g6. 

The process according to the web should be super easy, but with my client's laptop its a bit different.. The first part should be taking out the battery and it is kind of impossible with this pc, ill show you why in the picture. The highlighted area has this lock that you move from side to side to loosen the battery, well on this laptop that lock is just stuck, im applying alot of force and im not a weakling, and it just wont even budge! 

I need your help! Thank you.
