Hi guys.

I am building a new ITX computer build and have chosen the phanteks shift (non X) case. This case apparently has poor cooling if using fan coolers so I have been thinking of either dual AIO (CPU and GPU) OR a custom loop. The case has space for 2 120mm radiators.

Problems

1) I want a rtx series card and the only AIO that has a 120mm radiator is the sea hawk series. I have heard bad things about the quality of the tubing on this card so a bit unsure.

2) I have never water-cooled a pc before so would not know where to start on a custom loop.

Any advice would be much appreciated.

I wouldn't recommend a custom loop as your first build, as it considerably complicates the shopping and building of the system. I'd consider water cooling after you've built a few PCs.

I believe a seahawk uses an AIO with Teflon coated tubes, so if you don't bend them too hard (and crack the Teflon coating) they'll be resilient enough and actually be better than a AIO with rubber tubes.

My setup is a custom watercooled pc in an ITX case. Wouldn't recommend it if this would be your first custom loop (but you do you, it's a challenge and requires some planning).

AIO is the easiest way to go.

If you do decide on on going custom, use this: https://www.ekwb.com/configurator/
