Help! AOC I160FWUX wont work!

I have an AOC I160FWUX portable USB type-c monitor. It works with my Huawei p20 okay. Any windows 10 device I try fails to use the display. It detects the display as a billboard device. The driver came on a CD and like who's laptop has a CD drive these days! I have put the drivers on a USB and installed them on my laptop but still when I click on update drivers and go to the folder where they are they do not show up as selectable. Could you please help me?
